Location: the hotel was near Amazon's theater, the Opera House which has restaurants across the street with outdoor seating, and a rooftop rotating restaurant. I appreciated the historic-style building, great-sized and huge room for television.

Breakfast rather not good. Fruits were good, the rest no. Highly recommended is the day trip on the Amazon with Feliciano, who works in the hotel. He was there himself, speaks good English and explained a lot. Very authentic, very nice, not pushy, tried very hard to give the tourist what he wanted. If only all tourist guides were like this ..
In need of renovation. Minibar was empty (but drinks could be bought at the lobby), no glass, no kettle, no tea, no spoon in the room.

We first got a room where the air condition was not ok, but after a complaint we got another room. Reception could be a bit more friendly. Breakfast is sufficient. Good location near Teatro Amazonas.

The revolving restaurant is very cool. The staff are nice and solve most problems. The restaurant staff are especially nice.
It's a bit run down. Needs fixing up and modifying.

We had a fantastic experience at the revolving restaurant on the top floor of Taj Mahal Hotel in Manaus. The international cuisine with local products was excellent, especially the fish with Amazonian fruit sauce. The views from the restaurant were amazing, with a stunning panorama of the opera house, the ships, and the bridge with changing color lighting. Our group received outstanding service from the waiters, particularly Roberto, who ensured we had a lovely evening. The taxi fare from the ship terminal was affordable at only $10 or 15 BRL. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.
